What do a successful market strategy, the Beatles and corrugated board have in common?

At our recent Business Intelligence Meeting in Chester, UK, the participants of the international MidGen Group were able to explore all of these topics.

After an impressive factory tour at PW12 (Progroup) in Ellesmere Port, where site manager Mervyn Thomas gave us exciting insights into corrugated board production, we focused intensively on our event topic: Market Intelligence.

Progroup AG founder Jürgen Heindl shared special insights into market developments in the industry in his presentation. His experience shows that it is not enough just to know market data - it is much more important to interpret this data correctly. Many thanks for this valuable contribution!

An exuberant evening at the historic Cavern Club in Liverpool - where the Beatles made their first appearance in 1961 - gave us the opportunity to listen to an impressively authentic Beatles cover band and to sing and dance together. The packaging industry knows how to rock on 😉

Dr. Nina Haas, Managing Partner at osb international Consulting AG, presented us with a variety of helpful methods for strategy development. She highlighted methods such as Core Competencies and Blue Ocean, which the participants were then able to try out directly in break-out sessions. A big thank you also goes to Dr. Haas for this exciting workshop!

Once again, an instructive weekend ends where the participants of the Professionals Academy were able to work together on the most important skills of #familybusiness while at the same time promoting a strong #networkintelligence that strengthens the industry.
